Performs research to obtain information such as background on a company or industry, current wages, processing procedures, standard processing times, etc. Initiates contact with government agencies to obtain necessary information; alerts Senior Paralegal and/or attorney regarding potential process delays/problems. Qualifications: Comfortable and ability to thrive in an extremely high volume environment. Demonstrates sound judgement. Ability to execute and work well with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and ability to catch errors and correct work and the work of others. Superior client service skills. Effectively able to prioritize cases, caseload and other assigned tasks (i.e. projects, company management responsibilities, etc.). Ability to meet deadline and goals. MS Office, Scan/Copy; learn, apply and effectively navigate daily use of propriety software. Must have 1 3 yrs. U.S. corporate immigration experience. Manage a group at the printers: run a master, supervise proofreaders and ensure a smooth transition between support staff shifts. The draft tender offers ancillary documents and coordinate mailing to security holders. Coordinate the preparation and revisions of working group lists. Draft certain closing documents, including secretary's certificates and officer's certificates. Coordinate the collection of required documents and/or signature pages. Order and review certified charter documents and good standing certificates. Draft UCC financing, assignment and termination statements and arrange for filing; order and review searches to reflect. Coordinate and draft the Firm's responses to audit letters. Monitor service company accounts: ensure payments of bills for services ordered; update service of process addresses for business entities formed. Manage, edit, format and proofread Microsoft Word documents, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Adobe PDF documents consistent with firm styles and standards; maintain proficiency in these programs, among others, in support of attorneys. Perform other duties as assigned. The candidate should have BA/BS degree. Must have 1-3 years of related work experience. Must have impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
