Law degree preferred. Prefer formal paralegal training and a four-year degree, a proven track record of excellent work is equally impressive. Must have 2+ years of litigation and trial experience and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Must be organized and familiar with all aspects of the litigation process such as court systems and their attendant rules, procedures, and protocols. Must demonstrate effective planning, problem-solving, analytical skills, exercise sound judgment, have the ability to prioritize workload and assignments, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Assist with check down of closed; active and hold files including forwarding invoices of foreclosures fees and costs. Manage and organize production of documents; identify privileged documents. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent; Secondary education or some college a plus. Certified Paralegal a plus. 3-5 year Litigation Paralegal experience or general knowledge of litigation/bankruptcy proceedings. Must have a positive attitude and be a team player. Provide legal support to attorneys and team. Manage a portfolio of files for clients. Knowledge of real property and creditors rights preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with clerks or Judges in various courts, defense attorneys.
