Advise case teams on conducting and implementing efficient and effective document reviews in accordance with Firm and industry best practices. Set up and implement QC searches and protocols. Train and supervise contract attorney review teams. Advise case teams on document production options and best practices. Collaborate with Taft Discovery Analysts on production specifications. QC document productions. The candidate should have 3 years of experience with related legal work. Juris Doctorate degree is required. Knowledge of and experience with eDiscovery Best Practices and industry trends including the Sedona Conference, EDRM, case law, and local court practices is required. Demonstrated proficiency with Relativity is needed. Demonstrated successful management of multiple, high-priority, complex matters simultaneously is required. Supervising junior associates and paralegals with legal due diligence, including reviewing and summarizing disclosure schedules and virtual data rooms, conducting lien searches, and gathering publicly available information. Gathering and organizing client and borrower information. Executing and developing strategies to resolve matters favorably, efficiently and cost-effectively for clients. Performing other duties to ensure that clients receive the best and most cost-effective legal solutions. Experience, including substantial experience in one or more of mezzanine finance transactions, asset-based lending, cash flow lending, and borrower side finance work is required. Should have 3+ years of experience. Must have up-to-date understanding of legal issues affecting commercial lenders and borrowers.
