Works collaboratively with assigned attorneys and support staff in preparing legal documentation and/or processing transactions. Communicate with clients and expert witnesses regarding upcoming trials. Hires expert witnesses and coordinate inspections of the property at issue. Issue trial subpoenas, when needed. Maintain detailed digital notes of all trial related events. Coordinate expert depositions. Coordinate pre-trial hearings on motions in limine, pending motions for summary judgment and Daubert motions. Coordinate pre-trial mediation. Communicate with appellate counsel regarding pending appeals. Prepares joint stipulation, jury instructions and trial binders; coordinates trial exhibits. Provides general logistical help for purposes of trial. Assists in development and implementation of office systems and trial procedures as needed. Assists with special projects as assigned. Communicates with discovery and team paralegals regarding discovery cutoff deadlines. Communicates with judicial assistants regarding trial dates. Coordinates interpreters and court reporters for purposes of trial. Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.2-3 years related experience or equivalent. 4 year degree in relevant course work a plus. Paralegal Certification a plus.
