Property Tax Paralegal The candidate will draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, disclosures, discovery responses, and scheduling orders. Daily interface with clients, attorneys, opposing counsels, tax consultants, and courts via telephone and email. Complete valuation assessments of commercial properties. Schedule mediation sessions. Coordinate availability between clients, attorneys, opposing counsels, and tax consultants. Review Petitions and board orders for accuracy. Research, filter, and summarize county public data. Utilize CoStar, ALN, and the internet to research property information. Review appraisal reports for accuracy; Check for updated property information; Follow up with appraisers regarding updates. Assist in the preparation of settlement conference documents. Should preferably have an ABA Paralegal certificate. Should preferably have 2+ years of experience as a Paralegal. Should preferably have 1+ years of experience in a prior law firm. Should have computer skills in WordPerfect X8, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and Internet Research.
