Part-time Paralegal Assistant Responsibilities: Perform administrative duties such as scanning, photocopying, printing and faxing documents, answering and directing phone calls, and greeting clients. Coordinate appointments, including booking conference rooms as necessary. Monitor deadlines and juggle calendars. Prepare attorneys for hearings and client meetings. Process incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail. Locate and retrieve files. Process payments. Maintain supply inventory and office equipment. Assist with maintaining filing and storage systems. Assist with organizing and maintaining office area. Qualifications: Previous office experience. Ability to take direction and work independently with little or no supervision. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure. Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Good problem-solving skills. Computer literacy. Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office (preferred).
