Litigation Paralegal The candidate will schedule hearings, depositions, and mediations. Calendar court deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics. Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents, such as pleadings and discovery responses. Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices. Collect, examine, and organize evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation. Communicate with clients and witnesses to schedule meetings, interviews, and depositions. Manage, organize, and maintain documents in paper and electronic filing systems. Provide general administrative assistance, such as maintaining the attorney's calendar. Research regulations, laws, and legal articles to assist with the preparation of reports, case files, and legal advice. Keep an organized desk and manage all assigned tasks with minimal supervision. Implement and improve upon administrative processes for more efficient workflow. Should have High school diploma or GED degree. Should have 2 years of legal experience. Should preferably have an experience in insurance litigation (PIP).Should have knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court procedures, etc. Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and type no less than 35 wpm is required.
