Attorney The candidate will advise and represent clients in probate, business law, business formation, estate planning, general counsel, eviction, and collection matters as follows: Handle status calls, hearings, pre-trials, and trials. Prepare legal pleadings, motions, discovery, stipulations, etc. as required. Form not-for-profit and for-profit business entities and ancillary documents. Draft estate planning and ancillary documents. Draft, critically analyze, review and modify business contracts or other related documents. Complete MCLE requirements. Attend case management meetings. Negotiated percentage of collected billable hours. Should have Juris Doctor degree; IL State Bar admission; 3+ years of probate law experience; business formation, estate planning, general counsel, eviction, or collection matter experience. Homeowner Association representation is a plus. Leadership skills with a history of success. Should have excellent ability to communicate persuasively; ability to self-manage cases and assignments from start to finish with minimal oversight; advanced skills in MS Office applications; ability to work in the office and remotely; ability to manage video conference court hearings; willing and able to travel to courthouses and county buildings in Will county and cook county when necessary. Experience with Rocket Matter is a plus.
