Litigation and Probate Paralegal The candidate will support litigation including: factual research, document analysis, cite checking, document drafting, client communication, scheduling, docketing. Will support probate/trust administration by drafting documents, tracking inventory, client communication. Maintain client, matter, or practice group specific libraries in electronic format. Present results of all projects in effectively written memos, e-mails, or in logical discussion. Coordinate storage of client information electronically or in hard-copy. Utilize the firms software and technology and practice-group specific technology. Maintain all administrative standards set by the firm, including the preparation and submittal of daily billable time entries, attendance at administrative meetings, and other administrative tasks as assigned. Abide by all policies, work procedures, instructions and maintain confidentiality of all information while achieving a high quality of work product. Ensure efficient support to lawyers and clients of the firm. Must have 3+ years of Litigation experience. Must have 3+ years of relevant work experience in the legal field including familiarity with court rules, and understanding of litigation, motions practice, judge working copies. Must have demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to be trained on specific practice group technology. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills [proper grammar, appropriate vocabulary, organized and precise comments] and ability to express thoughts and describe a set of facts in a clear fashion.
