Associate Attorney - Elite Family and Civil Law Duties: Working with lawyers well known in the community, active in service to others and highly respected by both bench and Bar. Provide outstanding customer service to Clients and develop positive relationships with opposing counsel and area colleagues; Conducts oneself as a career professional. Requirements: JD Degree from accredited, top-tier law school; All continuing education requirements must be current; Admitted to the State Bar preferably with 2-3 years in family law, with no record of discipline and must be in good standing; Prefer experience in divorce, paternity, post-judgment matters including court appearances, trials, settlement conferences, depositions and written discovery. Some civil litigation and probate (conservatorships and guardianships) experience a plus; Exceptional legal research, writing and organizational skills a must; Attention to detail, deadlines and proactive case management skills; Polished and professional manner and appearance; Excellent attendance record; Willing to participate in community events, attend professional association meetings and participate in Inns of Court; Knowledge of local practices, court forms, rules and filing procedures; Knowledge and use of Apple (iMac) computers, iPhones, iPads a plus.
