Associate Attorney The candidate will develop and maintain relationships with clients and opposing counsel. Perform settlement negotiations. Review court documents. Draft and file responsive pleadings. Identify unfair debt collection practices. Perform other duties as required and assigned. Should preferably have 1+ years of litigation experience. Must have Juris Doctor from ABA law school. Licensed in one (mandatory) or more (preferred) of the following states: AK, AL, AR, AZ, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, NE, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OK, PA, RI, TN, TX, UT, VA, WY. Preference will be given to applicants having: Debt Settlement, Bankruptcy, FDCPA, and/or other consumer civil litigation experience. More than one of the state license listed above. Ability to waive into additional jurisdictions as needed (i.e. recent passage of the UBE or admission for at least 5 years).
