The successful candidate will have prior experience in fiduciary related matters, including probate administration, guardianships, and/or conservatorships, as well as transactional and litigation matters in these areas of law. Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and/or Social Security is a plus. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for: Initiating intake measures with appropriate clients, either telephonically, electronically, or in-person; Performing research on relevant and appropriate case law in a timely manner; Drafting and/or reviewing various civil pleadings and motions for cases attributed to the Firm; Drafting and/or reviewing various legal, financial and/or administrative documentation related to matters in the field of estate planning, guardianship, conservatorship, guardian ad litem, and/or probate; Filing appropriate documentation with the Courts of legal jurisdiction, the Commissioner of Accounts, governmental agencies and municipalities, and/or financial institutions; Managing and conducting follow-up communication with current or previous clientele of the Firm; Engaging in the appropriate marketing of the Firm; and Supporting the partners and staff of the Firm in any other legal, business or administrative matters as requested. The Associate Attorney will play a critical role in the growth of the Firm both regionally and nationally.
