Contract Attorney - Collections The candidate will assist in the firm s debt collections practice area on a temporary basis. This position will consist of commercial litigation with emphasis on volume based collection of debt work for a six-month period. Responsibilities include: Filing complaints, motions; Negotiating with debtors and settling disputed claims; Drafting general court pleadings; Handling all facets of discovery; Conducting depositions, mediations and trials autonomously. JD and Florida Bar admission required. Highest level of organizational skills required to manage a volume of cases required. Excellent communication skills required. Ability to aggressively negotiate and advocate from a position of strength required. Deep knowledge of Florida rules of civil procedure and basic civil non-jury trial practice required.
