This small litigation boutique includes attorneys with significant trail experience in a number of areas, including: insurance defense, insurance bad faith, professional liability, personal injury, construction defects, and environmental law. The firm actively seeks candidates who possess the ability to communicate well with an ever-evolving clientele and also with the attorneys within the firm; superb academic credentials, while helpful, are not essential.
Associate Attorney The candidate should have quality hands on litigation experience to assist working on a docket of major commercial tort (not asbestos) related defense cases. Should have 2+ years minimum handling civil commercial tort defense (not asbestos). Should have exceptional writing, communication, research and analytical skills. Writing is key. Strong Computer skills expected. Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively (most attorneys have a docket of 15-25 cases where they are paired with a partner. We have weekly litigation meetings and regular docket reviews. Should be self-motivated and driven, with a strong work ethic is a must. The firm encourages working remotely when coming to the office is not convenient and has IT capabilities to allow efficient working from home when necessary. Knows how to work as a team player, but also be able to work independently. Should have understands the big picture in getting a case to resolution.
