Employment Law Litigation Paralegal The candidate will prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, legal memoranda. Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices. Interface with Administrative Agencies, including EEOC. E-file court documents in federal and state court. Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses. Draft and serve summons. Coordinate depositions. Prepare deposition and hearing binders and exhibits. Draft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and filing them with the court. Interface with clients to keep them apprised of the status of their case and to obtain documents needed for discovery. Gather relevant information from a variety of sources. Liaise between the attorneys and internal/external third parties, including co-counsel, counsel for defendants, and the courts. Associate's degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience is preferred. Should have 4+ years of working experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting. Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is preferred. Should have general Litigation Experience, preferably in federal court.
