Paralegal - Banking Department at Law Firm The Law Firm of Walsh & Gilad PLLC is looking for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join their small busy law office located in Kew Gardens. This is a full-time position with a salary of $40,000 - $70,000 a year, and benefits including parental leave, professional development assistance, flexible schedule, and referral program. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of real estate law experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor's degree. Additionally, they should have strong organizational skills, loan processing experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: -Organize and prepare pre-closing and final documents for closing, preserving files within the firm's computer system -Knowledge of CEMA s, 255 s, and Schedule A Mortgage Schedules -Ability to fully review CEMA collateral documents -Coordinate with parties to schedule closings -Comfortable liaising with lenders to process mortgage loans, and provide required documentation -Ability to read and comprehend title reports, mortgage schedules, and municipal search reports -Determine what documentation is required in response to searches, and obtain the required documentation -Interface directly with title companies and surveyors to resolve any issues or discrepancies -Administer contract critical dates and prepare and administer closing checklists -Coordinate federal/local filings/recordings of legal documents and track receipt relating to those filings Requirements: -3+ years of real estate transactional work experience -Heavy real estate transactional purchase and sale knowledge -Familiarity with current real estate closing customs and procedures, including TRID, CEMA and web-based platforms -Ability to handle a large pipeline of loan files with minimal oversight -Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and meet deadlines -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Excellent organization skills, detail-oriented aptitude, and ability to multi-task -Flexibility to work overtime as necessary -High School diploma, required -Bachelor's Degree, preferred Paralegal - Banking Department Law Firm of Walsh & Gilad PLLC is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join their small busy law office located in Kew Gardens.
