Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate will ensure compliance with existing processes (i.e., record all incoming and outgoing documents in the case management application, record procedural and statutory dates and due dates) with an eye to improve all existing processes and implement others as needed, Supervise our very busy new case intake department, in coordination with the new case intake supervisor, which handles hundreds of new case inquiries daily. These leads require prompt decisions and informed responses. The team's leader must make quick calls about cases, interact with important outside vendor/partners, set high standards for customer service and monitor busy staff. Ability to optimize the firms single event department which handles a range of personal injury cases including auto, medical malpractice and nursing home case handling, Work with existing management in the mass torts department, Head up weekly meetings with single event, medical malpractice and nursing home staff, Extensive knowledge of all filing rules, procedures and judge's individual practices, Monitor case progress, Respond to all attorney procedural inquiries, discuss trial strategies, discuss legal issues, Enhance and enforce client communication protocols, Liaise with court personnel, Liaise with referring/co-counsel.
