Estate Planning and Probate Associate Attorney The candidate will be providing legal advice and recommendations to estate planning clients and prospective clients. Reviewing and Drafting important legal documents, such as Deeds, Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and similar tools. Preparing documents and assisting with the administration of trusts and estates. Remaining current on legal developments in these fields. Appearing in Court and advocating for clients in estate administration and related matters as well as preparing important court filings. Managing other employees, such as legal assistants or paralegals, as assigned, including overseeing day-to-day tasks, training, time management, coaching, and mentoring. Assisting with cases involving Medicaid Planning and Special Needs Planning. Must have Active Bar License in NC. Should preferably have 2+ Years of Estate Planning and Estate Administration Experience. Medicaid Planning Experience preferred. NC State Bar License to Practice Law required. Should preferably be empathetic, perform well in a fast-paced environment, can demonstrate a strong mastery of the law in these fields, and exhibits leadership qualities. Intermediate skill level or higher in Microsoft Word and Excel required. Should also have the intermediate skill level or higher in Google Apps, such as Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive. Must have excellent Reading and Writing Skills. The Spanish Language preferred.
