Real Estate Paralegal Responsibilities:- Intake, calendaring, opening of file and tracking of sale and purchase transactions; Preparation of attorney review addendum; Preparation of additional addendums, riders and amendments, as needed; Navigate home inspection contingency, negotiate terms acceptable to client; Navigate mortgage contingency; Email/phone communications with Client, Attorney, Real Estate Agent and Title Company; Review Buyer's title, clear judgments and prepare and schedule file for closing; Prepare Seller's sales documents: deed, affidavit of title. Should have High School diploma or equivalent. Some college a plus. Should be experienced with Word and Excel. Skill with Powerpoint and Outlook a plus. Must have Paralegal experience: 2-3+ years real estate paralegal. Other overlapping paralegal experience considered. Should be experienced residential real estate paralegal. Commercial real estate experience a plus. Must have Proficiency with HUD/closing disclosure/ATLA programs. Familiarity with short sales, FHA lenders, for sale by owner, and other variations on standard transactions a plus. Notary Public is a plus.
