Paralegal / Trust Funding Coordinator The candidate will be managing the ongoing relationships with clients and requires coordination with both the client and their professional team, such as financial advisors and accountants. Mainting client files from the initial information gathering stage through follow-up until file closure. For trust clients, one follows the funding process in transferring client assets into trusts, including drafting new deeds, beneficiary designations, and re-titling specific assets. Some of our trust clients participate in an ongoing maintenance program.
Qualifications: Experience in a law office environment; a paralegal certificate and/or degree is a plus. Possesses a positive attitude, is friendly, and professional in their approach to their work and business relationships with an ability to make people feel comfortable and valued; genuine interest in the service of others; possesses a desire to learn and grow professionally. Excellent organization abilities complemented by good written and verbal communication skills; understanding of general office procedures and practices; high level of accuracy and attention to detail; proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize; general knowledge of basic office equipment. Strong aptitude and interest in the utilization of computer software a must; average, working knowledge of Word and Excel.
