Litigation Paralegal The candidate work alongside attorneys during all phases of litigation and other contested proceedings, from initiation, through discovery and other information gathering stages, hearings and/or trial, and post trial findings. Duties may include: drafting legal holds, and conducting and/or supervising document collection and management, particularly including e discovery; conducting document searches and factual and legal research; drafting witness statements and other materials for case preparation; assisting attorneys in preparing for depositions and other proceedings; proofreading papers, organizing exhibits, assisting with court and hearing filings, and otherwise aiding in motion practice; trial and hearing attendance and assistance; and preparation of charts, schedules and demonstrative exhibits for submission in administrative proceedings. Will possess sharp analytical skills, including financial analytical skills; complex litigation experience; and an aptitude in working with databases and learning new technology. Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and superior Excel skills required. Prior experience working with CaseLogistix or other discovery management software preferred. Candidate should be well organized, have the ability to multi task and prioritize assignments while delivering consistent, quality work product and have experience in working with metadata and managing e discovery.
