Legal Secretary The candidate will be responsible for: answering phones, typing correspondence and pleadings, working on various court filings, transcribing dictation, assisting clients, assisting attorneys with client needs, organizing files, and compiling discovery. Keep track of Attorney time. Keep track of the calendar. Keep attorneys informed of upcoming hearings, meetings etc. each week. Must be able to transcribe dictation, format documents, spell check, proof read. TimeSlips knowledge a plus. Should have 2+ years of legal work experience. Must be able to use, with skill and speed, Microsoft Word and Excel. Must type 65+ wpm. Should have experience with all manners of office organization, including: client file organization, supply orders, maintaining the common areas. Organize client files. Should have familiarity with legal forms ie: Judicial Counsel Forms.
