Associate Attorney Family Law Responsibilities: Work diligently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Take ownership of clients cases, including direct contact with clients and opposing counsel. Draft pleading and conducting discovery. Handle mediations and conferences, pretrial hearings, and trials. Qualifications: Licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado or have the ability to waive in. Should have experience working in family law, or that have strong litigation experience and can demonstrate the ability to learn quickly. Skills and experience are appreciated and valued, but drive, optimism, and helpful nature are extremely important considerations. High-maintenance, humorless, entitled, or self-important individuals will not succeed in this position and need not apply. If you are proactive, protective, communicative, and real. Skilled in research, writing, courtroom presentation, and technology.
