Legal Secretary The candidate's duties include lots of dictation, scanning attorney mail, filing preparation as well as other in assistance to the lawyers of the firm. Should have High School Diploma or equivalent; college or business school preferred. 1 year experience with dictation or transcription. 1 year of experience in a law firm or professional services environment; prior experience in the practice area is preferred. High level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with time billing and document management systems preferred. Effective communication skills and a mastery of business English, legal terminology, spelling and grammar as well as strong typing skills required.
