Legal Secretary The candidate duties include: Legal Document Preparation. Prepare, revise, format and formalize legal documents; including but not limited to correspondence, memos and pleadings for Court filings. Transcribe dictation. Candidate must have knowledge of and experience with Court procedures including e-filing. Establish and Maintain Legal Files (both electronic and physical format). Verify that files are organized and filed in designated order. Receive, place, and screen telephone calls and convey messages to Attorney. Maintain Attorney s Calendar. Schedule appointments, conferences, and meetings. Update client and case information (both electronic and physical format). The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion is required. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Word Perfect and possess good typing skills. Must have 2 years of recent legal secretary experience.
