Paralegal The candidate should have experience in estate planning, probate, real estate transactions and business law for a professional law office. The paralegal will communicate with clients, family members, trustees, tax auditors, other attorneys, and professionals. The nature of this job also requires a strong attention to detail as the paralegal works with wills, probate papers, tax forms, and many other financial documents, contracts, and directives. The paralegal should be well versed in many kinds of real estate transactions and documents. The paralegal will possess a high degree of integrity as they handle many personal financial documents and private information on individuals, organizations, and corporations. Should be self-motivated, work well under pressure, as most settings are fast-paced. They must be able to manage their time well, work proactively, and be aware of any issues that need to be brought to the attorney's attention. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. They also must be extremely accurate and detailed in their paperwork. Other skills needed include computer skills, a good working knowledge of standard office technology and equipment, and general office procedures. Vocational training in paralegal studies or prior law firm experience preferred.
