Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be reviewing contested cases to determine status and next step and updating client systems. Will be processing trial orders, notifying client about trials, monitoring trial cases for proper documentation and witness attendance at trial. Compose notices, letters, and emails to clients; must be capable of drafting basic correspondence to court and client without assistance. Assist in the preparation for trials, hearings, mediations and depositions. Prepare Motions for Default and supporting Affidavits as to Military Status, etc. Organize and maintain client files in our electronic case management database. Prepare general correspondence, typing and proofreading documents. Perform general office duties. Should have experience in handling Plaintiff foreclosure cases. Must have excellent typing and computer skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook. Working knowledge of Excel helpful. Must have a strong understanding of contested foreclosure cases and also have experience with the Florida Courts E-filing Portal. Must have working knowledge of Black Knight Financial Services. Experience with Serengeti and Lenstar are preferred.
