Associate Attorney The candidate must have 3+ years of experience handling employment litigation matters including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment and defense of wage and hour. Strong advice and counsel skills required as it relates to implementation of employment laws in the workplace. Should have ability to interface with the client and convey a level of professionalism and competence in terms of both the legal and strategic issues in employment litigation matters. Must have knowledge of and experience with California and federal agencies including DFEH, EEOC, DLSE, and DOL. Experience preparing and responding to written discovery, motions, and taking depositions in employment litigation matters with limited supervision and oversight is needed. Experience creating discovery plans and executing same is essential. Should have excellent writing skills including drafting agreements and contracts related to employment and litigation matters. Other business experience is a plus. Prior human resources experience desirable.
