We are looking for an experienced Associate Attorney to join our team. The successful candidate will represent clients in their consumer rights cases, from inception to completion. Job Description: As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for: * Representing clients in their consumer rights cases * Conducting legal research, writing motions and memoranda * Representing clients in state and federal court * Attending hearings and trials * Negotiating settlements * Interacting with clients, opposing counsel and court personnel * Preparing and responding to discovery requests * Preparing and filing legal documents * Keeping abreast of developments in the law * Meeting deadlines * Maintaining client files Qualifications: * Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Florida * 1-3 years of experience in consumer rights cases * Admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle, Southern and Northern Districts of Florida is preferred * Detail oriented, organized, and able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced law practice * Can work well under pressure and with multiple deadlines * Highly motivated and enthusiastic with a desire to learn and grow * Excellent writing skills, having written myriad motions and memoranda * Proficiency with technology, including file management software, Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, Westlaw and general internet-based research Salary & Benefits: We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience and ability, excellent benefits, including health and dental insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan.
