Employment Litigation Associate Attorney The candidate will draft demand letters, pleadings, respond to discovery, motions, and other court criteria (with support from one of our senior attorneys). Assist and support senior attorneys and partners in handling complex cases. Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, interviews, and trials. Interact with clients. Must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing of the Bar with 2-3+ years of experience with an employment litigation law firm. Must have strong research and writing skills; ability to speak Spanish fluently; attention to detail. Be proactive and positive. Must be able to prioritize multiple duties quickly, be detail-oriented, organized, personable, eager to learn and enjoy giving the best client service possible; passionate, hardworking, and interested in learning and growing with the firm; a multi-tasker with excellent written and communication skills and an upbeat attitude prepared to take on new projects. Should be more reliable than spontaneous. Should enjoy doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction; focus on the details of work than the bigger picture.
