Litigation Paralegal The candidate will work with attorneys and clients in a supportive environment, performing specific legal work requiring knowledge of legal concepts and procedures. Will review, organize, and analyze documents. Perform legal research. Handle a high volume of discovery documents. Draft basic legal documents, including subpoenas. Will be trained in managing production and discovery of electronically stored information. Deposition line summaries. Assist with trial preparation. May perform other duties as appropriate. The candidate should be certified by an ABA approved paralegal program. Compliance with Business and Professions Code 6450 is required. Should preferably have 1-3 years of litigation experience. Must have experience in case management. Ability to work effectively with people, exercise sound judgment, establish and maintain professional relationships with attorneys and colleagues is required. Above-average competency in office technology and software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Pro and document management systems is essential. Experience with eDiscovery Point and TrialDirector software would be a plus. Strong analytical, communication and writing skills required. Overtime and travel may be required.
