Benefits of Joining Attorney Sharon Jackson, LLC: Competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and PTO Fast-moving work environment that requires the ability to think and move quickly and multitask Old-school, old-fashion work values, a non-office politics team, and high-tech tools and equipment Team of all "A" players Responsibilities of the Discovery Paralegal: Gather information about legal issues from the client in interviews Arrange law office activities such as drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers Review documents to ensure all requested documents have been provided and missing documents are obtained Analyze documents for evidence that helps or harms our case Organize and summarize evidence collected through the discovery process Help lawyers prepare for trial by preparing and organizing exhibits, assisting with client meetings, organizing evidence, and organizing and coordinating witnesses Manage incoming discovery responses and documents Draft Motion to compel against other side Manage discovery deadlines Make good faith calls to opposing sides to resolve discovery disputes Utilize discovery software and e-discovery software Calendar discovery deadlines Draft discovery requests to opposing sides Prepare discovery response charts Coordinate with attorneys to communicate with clients when discovery responses are not received or need to be supplemented Draft and send subpoenas Manage and schedule depositions Analyze data for evidence that can be used to support our case or that might exist that harm our case Work with skip tracers and internal software to perform background checks and due diligence searches Qualifications for the Discovery Paralegal Role: Move quickly, think quickly, work at a good pace but with accuracy Flexible.
