Real Estate Pre-Closing Paralegal The candidate Responsibilities will include: Receive contracts/title requests from lenders. Review and confirm all information in file is correct (to include the agents mailing info). Send out information sheets to parties (Call on buyer/seller info sheets if not received after 2 days and 2 emails). Obtain payoffs and invoices. Confirm title commitment is in and push for review to close. Schedule Closings. Communicate with Closing Paralegals regularly to have a smooth closing process. Provide excellent customer service in order to grow the brand name with the client and all other parties we come into contact with. Must have an understanding of closing standards and basic understanding of title clearance including foreclosure. Should be knowledgeable in North Carolina Real Estate Regulations and guidelines, document preparation, and RESPA rules. Completion of a High School diploma or GED required. Must be computer proficient and comfortable working in a fast paced practice.
