Immigration Attorney The candidate will conduct potential new client meetings for consultations. Coordinate case and legal strategies. Manage various projects and deadlines. Ability to train and supervise administrative staff and paralegals. Prepare, and revise documents. Research unique legal issues by identifying applicable statutes and judicial decisions. Maintain informed of legislative changes that may affect immigration. Develop solutions to complex legal questions. Attend master calendar hearings, bond hearings, and individual/merits hearings. Familiar in the following areas: Family Petitions, Asylum, Individual Hearings, SIJS, U-VISAs, Waivers including (I-601A, I-212, I-601), etc. Should have a J.D. degree. Active Bar license (in a good standing). Active in bar association in Florida (or ability to waive in immediately). Must have 1 year of experience in law. Fluent in Spanish.
