Personal Injury Legal Assistant/Paralegal The candidate will be working directly with a partner of the law firm handling all aspects of a case from intake through trial which includes regular client contact, preparing attorney's liens/letters, getting med pay tendered, reviewing medical records and bills, preparing demand letters and packages, lien reduction/resolution, drafting complaints, e-filing in various counties, propounding and answering written discovery, setting of depositions, preparation for depositions in terms of exhibits, trial preparation, trial assistance. The candidate should preferably have 1 year of Paralegal experience and 2 years of MS Office experience. High school or equivalent is preferred. Experience with personal injury/wrongful death cases is essential. Must have ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, be organized, communicate effectively with a variety of people, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of the following are plus's: Experience on the Plaintiff's side; Fluency in Spanish; Knowledge of medical terms/conditions.
