Paralegal The candidate will be answering phones, typing correspondence and pleadings, working on various court filings, transcribing dictation, assisting clients, assisting attorneys with client needs, organizing files, and compiling discovery. 2+ years of legal work experience or similar required. Must be able to use, with skill and speed, Microsoft Word and Excel. Type 65+ wpm. Professional verbal communication skills required. Experience with all manner of office organization, including but not limited to: client file organization, supply orders, maintaining the common areas required. Keep track of the calendar. Keep attorneys informed of upcoming hearings, meetings etc. each week. Able to prioritize and manage deadlines. Able to transcribe dictation, format documents, spell check, proof read. Organize client files. Familiarity with legal forms ie: Judicial Counsel Forms required. TimeSlips knowledge a plus. Great time management skills required.
