Associate Attorney, Part-time Duties: Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorney; Drafts, reviews and files appropriate court pleadings including legal motions, petitions and briefs; prepares appropriate immigration applications; Collaborate with clients and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently; Represents clients at USCIS interviews/EOIR hearings; prepares case strategy and clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony; oversight of court hearings and USCIS interviews; and Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for attorneys and support staff. Qualifications: JD degree required from an accredited law school; Admitted to practice law in the United States (Georgia Bar admission preferred), member in good standing, and admitted to practice law by the highest court in the state where barred; AND 3+ years of immigration law or litigation experience.
