Litigation Attorney Duties: Review pleadings, regularly attend court (telephonic and in person), assist with task and workflow management, work with pleadings and accompanying paperwork and provide professional legal assistance, advice and counsel with respect to collections and creditor s rights. May require research and analysis of legal questions. Review and approve pleadings, motions, and responses Review answered files and handle litigation, including court appearances Track and respond to consumer/attorney correspondence throughout the litigation cycle Provide efficient completion of assigned projects and tasks Review status of cases and provide legal analysis on how to move forward Negotiate resolutions with consumers/consumer attorneys Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Law degree from an accredited college or university. Current license to practice law in the State of Idaho, dual license for CO would be preferred. Experience in collections law preferred. Proven experience reviewing legal documents for accuracy. Mediation and/or arbitration experience in litigation preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and WordPerfect. Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively verbally and in writing.
