Paralegal, Personal Injury (Mass Torts) Duties: Work alongside attorneys and other paralegals assisting individuals who have been adversely harmed by defective drugs and/or medical devices. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Take detailed information over the phone from the client. Analyze files and matters, determine required information and take action to obtain needed information. Order and review medical records. Organize and maintain documents in electronic filing systems. Follow diary system. Telephone contact with clients, providers, third-party medical retrieval services and outside vendors. Scheduling interviews and meetings. Interviewing clients to determine where they have sought medical treatment. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Associate s or Bachelor's Degree. Strong knowledge of PC applications, Adobe PDF, Windows, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Strong customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred: Prior litigation support experience. Prior paralegal work involving personal injury and disability claims. Familiarity with requesting and reviewing medical records.
