The Law Firm is actively seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Legal Secretary with 8 plus years of Litigation experience. The ideal candidate must have a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines while assisting multiple attorneys. The Legal Secretary will be responsible for the following duties: * Preparing legal documents such as correspondence, discovery, pleadings, etc. * Calendaring reminders and scheduling deadlines for pre-suits, pleadings, discovery and pre-trial/trial matters * Scheduling client meetings, depositions, mediations and court appearances, as well as obtaining case information and following up on attorney correspondence and filings * Transcribing dictation, reviewing attorney-generated correspondence and documents, and ensuring adherence to court-mandated guidelines * Handling non-billable tasks for assigned attorneys, including preparing and updating active file lists * Facilitating a consistent approach to file management and client representation * Having a knowledge of court rules and procedures and being able to prioritize tasks accordingly * Experience with e-filing documents with the court and knowledge of local, state and federal deadlines Desired Skills and Qualifications: * Must be able to speak Spanish fluently * Strong knowledge of MS Word * Intermediate knowledge of Excel * High level of discretion and confidentiality required * Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work well with team members Benefits: * Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance and 401K plan * Paid Time Off * Competitive Salary The Law Firm is looking to hire a Bilingual (Spanish) Legal Secretary with 8+ years of Litigation experience.
