Full-Time Attorney Position at Injury Attorneys Injury Attorneys (GMIA) is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Attorney to join our team. Our firm is dedicated to providing our clients with the best legal representation and client experience. We are an established and rapidly growing plaintiff's personal injury law firm with locations across the state of Louisiana. We are looking for a compassionate and empathetic personality, an innovative, competitive, fast-paced thinker, and an enthusiastic, positive team player. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clients with legal advice, guidance and representation. Job Responsibilities: Manage cases from inception through trial. Communicate with clients, adjusters, medical professionals, opposing counsel, the Court, and your team in order to resolve cases efficiently and effectively. Investigate claims and gather evidence. Document injuries and expenses and review medical records. Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Negotiate settlements. Use strategic thinking in order to zealously advocate for all clients. Manage personnel, including training, coaching, hiring, and discipline. Assist with training personnel. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited law school - Juris Doctorate Licensed and in good standing with the Louisiana Bar Advanced computer skills required Preferred: 3+ years of personal injury experience Preferred: Proficiency in case management software Preferred: An understanding of medical treatment Role is subject to an office environment. Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, or fingers. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at a time. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to maintain professionalism and act ethically on behalf of the firm and its clients. Ability to collaborate with all levels of firm personnel and foster a team environment. Strong organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
