Associate Attorney, Part-time Candidate will be acting as an attorney in most of the firms cases, so the duties and responsibilities would include all facets of work related to a typical legal case, such as: communicating and consulting with clients about the law and the facts of thier case; attending and arguing at hearings; filing and responding to motions, orders etc.; drafting estate planning documents and consulting with clients therewith; tracking billable hours; answering phone calls; responding to emails; tracking calendar events; keeping client files updated and in order. Qualifications: Candidate must be an active member of the Utah State Bar in good standing. Should have 3+ years of attorney experience. experience in estate planning, probate, and/or social security disability is preferred. Should have a working knowledge of the rules of ethics, professional conduct, civil procedure etc. Excellent people and communications skills.
