Litigation Paralegal The candidate will assist primarily in family law, but also periodically with regards to civil cases. Should preferably have 2 years experience handling family law cases, be knowledgeable with litigation, and comfortable handling clients in Spanish and English. Must be able to manage a large caseload in a fast-paced environment, be well organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated and be able to draft pleadings, discovery, orders, and have experience with electronic filing. Must have excellent verbal and written skills in both English and Spanish. Knowledge or experience in civil cases (e.g. personal injury and business litigation) is a plus. Will be preparing preliminary drafts of pleadings through WestLaw Form Builder, discovery, and correspondence; maintaining calendar, deadlines and reminders for attorney; preparing, organizing, and filing documents and correspondence, assisting in scheduling and preparation for hearings, depositions, and mediation. Must be proficient with MS Office Suite including Word and Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.
