Title : Family Law Associate Attorney

Family Law Associate Attorney The candidate will draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, memorandum, discovery responses, and prepare for and attend depositions. Will prepare trial materials, manage discovery requests and responses, and coordinate with the firm's team to effectively manage a robust caseload. Prepare and appear for court appearances including scheduling conferences, pretrial conferences, mediations, and motions hearings, in Maryland District and Circuit Court. Position requires frequent travel out of the office, and throughout Maryland. Evening work and weekend work may be necessary in order to meet billable hour requirement. The candidate should have a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and licensed to practice law and in good standing with the State Bar of Maryland. Must have experience in litigation, preferably family law and personal injury or alternatively, a strong drive to learn and master the requirements for the position. Should preferably have 2+ years of experience in litigation, preferably family law and civil litigation. Judicial law clerks are strongly encouraged to apply. Should highlight experience with: post-graduate litigation, Maryland Electronic Court filings, discovery practice, and motion practice, if applicable.
