Immigration: 1 year (Preferred) Law Firm is looking for an Immigration Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate must have 1-2 years of experience and a college education or equivalent (Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate acceptable). Bilingual (Spanish and English) is a must. The Immigration Paralegal will be responsible for providing case and legal strategy support, preparing court documents, managing processes including but not limited to: drafting legal documents and correspondence; assembling documents, outlines, and exhibits for court and USCIS filings; calendaring and deadline management; research and fact finding; and other tasks as may be assigned. The successful candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Case management systems, and legal research databases. Experience or interest in preparing applications with the Immigration Court, with emphasis on asylum, cancellation of removal, and Waivers is a plus. The ideal candidate must also have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively, and must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
