Civil Litigation Paralegal The candidate will work closely with the firm's attorneys and paralegals in supporting the representation of our clients. Will be opening and closing the office. Greeting office guests and vendors. Ordering supplies. Working with the property manager. Scheduling maintenance. General clerical items. Maintain attorney/hearing calendars. Interviewing clients. Case fact-gathering and retrieving. Engage with attorneys in case planning and recommendations on how to proceed. Conduct legal research. Draft, revise, and produce legal pleadings and briefs. Must have appropriate certification as a Paralegal. Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Should have 1-5 years of Paralegal experience. Experience in marketing, public relations, client intake, accounts receivable, human resources, operations is desired. Previous experience working for any of the California Departments (e.g. Real Estate, Medical Board, Alcohol Beverage Control, etc.) preferred. Must have basic accounting skills with a high degree of accuracy. Bilingual-Spanish is required. Should have ability to multi-task and adapt to constantly changing priorities. Must have ability to produce correspondence, proofread for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
