Managing Attorney The candidate will manage our Colorado satellite office and be responsible for the general work flow of the office. Additional responsibilities include court appearances, document review and preparation, suit decisioning, interacting with litigation, post judgment and collection staff, and communicating and negotiating with consumers, attorneys and clients. A thorough knowledge of litigation process from suit filing through and including judgment enforcement, Experience in creditors rights law, Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced team oriented environment, Proven supervisory skills, Ability to work without supervision or oversight. Must be detail oriented. Understand all client policies and procedures and conduct all firm business within those guidelines. Research and understand laws, statutes, constitutions, regulations, court rules and regulations, including industry trends and conduct all firm business within those guidelines. Prepare cases, attend court hearing, conference calls, prepare client witnesses; complete discovery; develop case and testimony; complete filings, motions, and submissions; supervise on-site staff. Review litigation documents as required. Manage cases by monitoring schedules; expediting requirements; obtaining and forwarding information. Support firm and clients by initiating and maintaining open communications; and keeping firm informed of any issues with workflow or policy changes, etc. Improve quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes. Update job knowledge by participating in continuing educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
