Law Firm is looking for an experienced Probate and Estate Administration Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least one to two years of experience in North and/or South Carolina probate matters. This position is full-time and comes with a salary of $40,000 to $55,000 per year, with benefits including flexible scheduling and paid time off. ## Job Description of Probate and Estate Administration Associate **Law Firm** is seeking an experienced Probate and Estate Administration Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least one to two years of experience in North and/or South Carolina probate matters. **Job Type:** Full-time **Pay:** $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year **Benefits:** - Flexible schedule - Paid time off **Schedule:** - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday **Travel requirement:** No travel **Education:** High school or equivalent (Required) **Experience:** - Wills, trusts, & estate law: 1 year (Preferred) - Probate/Estate Administration: 1 year (Required) **Work Location:** In person The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks: - **Managing Estate and Probate Matters:** The Probate and Estate Administration Associate will be responsible for managing probate and estate matters, including overseeing the collection and distribution of assets, preparing and filing documents, managing estates, and representing clients in court. - **Providing Legal Advice:** The Associate will provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various matters related to probate and estate administration. - **Maintaining Client Relationships:** The Associate will maintain positive relationships with clients by responding to inquiries in a timely manner and providing exceptional service. - **Keeping Records:** The Associate will keep accurate records of all estate and probate matters and ensure that all documents are properly filed. - **Collaborating with Other Professionals:** The Associate will collaborate with other professionals, such as estate planners and accountants, to ensure that all estate and probate matters are handled properly. **Requirements:** - At least one to two years of experience in North and/or South Carolina probate matters - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent organizational and time-management skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Attention to detail - Knowledge of state and federal laws related to probate and estate administration - Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously - Knowledge of legal terminology - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - A valid driver's license - A Juris Doctor degree (Preferred) The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a strong attention to detail.
