Lead Domesitc Paralegal The candidate will be preparing all pleadings such as drafting of motions, judgments, statements, documents, notices, subpoenas, financial affidavits, child support worksheets, responsive pleadings, witness affidavits, discovery requests and responses and most other correspondence with clients, opposing counsel and the court. Will be maintaining and managing attorneys' calendars including handling calendar conflicts; Maintaining and managing client files; Scheduling appointments, court appearances, mediation, depositions, etc. Serving as a liaison between the client and the attorney. Establishing and maintaining a good working relationship with clients. Will be hearing preparation, mediation preparation, deposition preparation; Knowing deadlines associated with litigation, i.e. responsive deadlines for pleadings and discovery. Will be handling clients facing the emotional difficulties while maintaining the ability to guide them through the different phases of litigation. Kindly handling clients who are upset, distressed, or anxious. Will be reviewing and analyzing financial records regarding assets and debts of the clients. Will be leading a team of three other paralegals and mentoring these co-workers. Should have excellent communication skills. Should have excellent customer service skills. Should have ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with attorneys, Courts, peers and co-workers. Should be proficient in Word, Excel, Internet, Peachcourt and Time Matters.
