Associate Attorney Opportunity at Law Firm Overview Law Firm is looking to hire an Associate Attorney with two full years of experience defending wage and hour class action cases and/or PAGA actions in California. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and a starting salary ranging from $150,000 to $215,000 depending on experience. Responsibilities The Associate Attorney will report to the Chair of Law Firm s PAGA Litigation Practice Group and be responsible for: Advising and counseling employer clients on high-stakes wage and hour matters Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery Reviewing and analyzing discovery responses Participating in and contributing to overall strategy from case inception to completion Taking depositions Performing exposure analysis Attending mediations and engaging in settlement negotiations Speaking and publishing on class action and PAGA issues Qualifications 2 years of experience in wage and hour class action defense in California Highly motivated, possess excellent writing, analytical, and people skills Value a team environment Prepared to work independently and assume significant responsibilities Bilingual abilities are a plus Must have a California bar license and be in good standing in the state of California Compensation and Benefits Starting salary ranging from $150,000 to $215,000 depending on experience Options available to work in the office, fully remote, or hybrid Medical, dental, vision, and flexible spending Firm-paid benefits: EAP, Telemedicine, life insurance, STD, and LTD 401(k), paid holidays, paid time off, and paid parental leave program Fun virtual events and firm perks Business casual dress Annual Holiday event and more!
